In order to obtain a refund you are required to email in a ( Behind the scenes photo of the same lighting set-up we teach in the training course… Plus an image of your subject from the photo shoot. )

Our training courses are based on years of experience and what we teach works, if you use what we teach you’ll have great results. Sending in a behind the scenes image and an image from the shoot may seem like a weird request…

But here is why we ask that of you in order to obtain a refund. A small number of people will purchase an online training course and ask for a refund only hours of watching the content in an effort to get the course for free.

That’s why we ask for proof of your behind the scenes lighting set-up and and image from the shoot taken after the date of the purchase of your course. If our course really didn’t help you, then we have no problem offering a refund but you have to prove to us that you actually made an effort to practice the concepts we teach in our training course.

By mailing in a behind the scenes image of the lighting set-up taught in the course and an image taken with the lighting set-up of an actual subject from the shoot with the lighting set-up taught in the course. Please email your images to ( support @ shutterslam.com with your refund request. )

Note: Due to the variety of different computers, operating systems, audio and video codecs, internet browsers and internet speeds. There are no refunds for audio or video playback issues.

Our training videos play perfectly fine over a number of different operating systems and internet browsers. We use a state of the art video streaming service called Vimeo.

Our support team will make an effort to help you troubleshoot your technical issues but we are not computer experts. You are also required to do your own due diligence when it comes to updating your computer software and audio and video codes.

And we also ask that you make an effort to troubleshoot your own computer and software in regards to any playback issues.

If you have any wi-fi issues due to poor connection speed, we ask that you plug your computer directly into your computer modem.  We are not responsible for poor or slow internet connections. We have a very robust server and our website runs smoothly.

We also have a monthly recurring membership Photography video training site called (Shutter Slam Academy.) Formerly Shutter Slam Insiders.

There no refunds for Shutter Slam Academy monthly or yearly membership fees…

You can cancel at anytime and your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing cycle.

To cancel your Shutter Slam Academy membership email ( support @ shutterslam.com ) with your cancellation request.

Your request must be received at least 24 hours prior to your subscription renewal date, or the cancellation will not be effective until the following month.

There no refunds for Shutter Slam Academy monthly or yearly membership fees…

Here’s why… A lot of time, effort and money goes into these video training courses and you’re getting access to all of them…

For example: Studio rental, hiring models, hiring videographers, editing the video series, web hosting fees, online shopping cart fees and video hosting fees associated with the video training courses…

We also provide dedicated support for all of our training products.

We also strive to offer our video training courses at lower prices than our competitors to provide you with maximum value.

For these reasons we have a strict no refund policy for our training courses and Shutter Slam Academy membership fees. If you disagree with our no refund policy, please do not purchase any of our video training courses.

There are no refunds for Shutter Slam Academy monthly or annual membership fees.

There are also no refunds for One on One Coaching with Craig Beckta, you can reschedule your appointment time if you can’t make it.

Refunds. PAYMENTS FOR MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR PARTIALLY USED PERIODS.

Following a cancellation of a monthly membership, however, you will continue to have access to the service through the end of your current billing period.

For Multi-Month or Annual FULL ACCESS MEMBERSHIPS

(Full Access Membership to be defined as any multi-month or annual membership that provides access to the Shutter Slam complete library or all course and videos)

Following a cancellation of a Multi-Month or Annual Full Access Membership NO REFUNDS SHALL BE ISSUED, however, you will continue to have access to the service through the end of your current billing period.

For Multi-Month or Annual LIMITED ACCESS MEMBERSHIPS (Limited Access Membership to be defined as any multi-month or annual membership with limited or segmented access to the Shutter Slam library of courses and videos), Following a cancellation of a Multi-Month or Annual Limited Access Membership NO REFUNDS SHALL BE ISSUED, however, you will continue to have access to the service through the end of your current billing period. At any time, and for any reason, we may provide a refund, discount, or other consideration to some or all of our members (“credits”). The amount and form of such credits, and the decision to provide them, are at our sole and absolute discretion. The provision of credits in one instance does not entitle you to credits in the future for similar instances, nor does it obligate us to provide credits in the future, under any circumstance.

Payment Methods. You may change your payment method by contacting Shutter Slam Support Desk or emailing support @ shutterslam.com. If a payment is not successfully settled, due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, and you do not edit your Payment Method information or cancel your account (see, “Cancellation” below), you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts and authorize us to continue billing the Payment Method, as it may be updated. This may result in a change to your payment billing dates. For certain Payment Methods, the issuer of your Payment Method may charge you a foreign transaction fee or other charges. Check with your Payment Method service provider for details.

Cancellation. You may cancel your Shutter Slam Monthly membership at any time, and you will continue to have access to the Shutter Slam service through the end of your monthly billing period. WE DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR ANY PARTIAL MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP PERIODS.

To cancel,  email ( support @ shutterslam.com ) with a cancellation request. If you cancel your membership, your account will automatically close at the end of your current billing period.

If you signed up for Shutter Slam using your account with a third party as a Payment Method, and wish to cancel your Shutter Slam membership at any time, including during your $1 trial, you may need to do so through such third party, including by visiting your account with the applicable third party and turning off auto-renew, or unsubscribing from, the Shutter Slam service through that third party. You may also find billing information about your Shutter Slam membership by visiting your account with the applicable third party.
